Shaving Cream Fun

I bought a can of shaving cream and some food colour thinking it might encourage and enhance bath time.  It worked and Camden asks for shaving cream all the time now.

I don't mind the mess in the tub and I was hoping the mess in the sink would be alright and it was...not too many splatters on the floor or walls.

He doesn't like having dirty hands (pardon my croaky voice, I have a bad cold)

First Day of Preschool

February 5, 2014 was a big day for Camden.  His first day of school, one of many to come.

The first day went well and Camden enjoyed himself.  The bell and school announcements scared him and he wanted the same snack as everyone else, but Ms. Lindsay told us he did well.  Way to go little man!!

Groundhog Day

I can't remember if the Groundhog saw his shadow or not this year, but to me, it looks like winter is staying.

At lunch today...

Me: Camden, would you like some ham?

Cam: I am not too struck on ham.

Me:  What?  You love ham.

Cam: I am not too struck on ham today.

Ron was drinking apple juice in a large mug this afternoon.

Cam: I just need a drink of your apple juice.

Ron: Ok, just be careful, it is a big mug

Cam took a big drink and setting the mug down, said, "I can see my face in there!"

The other night while curled up for bed I asked Cam for a goodnight kiss.

Cam: I am already rolled over Mum-Mum.

I was standing at the sink washing dishes when Cam came up to me, got on his knees and said, "Will you marry me Mum-Mum?"

"I just" is a favourite of Cam's.....

I just need the ladder

I just need to stand on the counter to see what's up there

I just need to have pudding

I just need to put on my boots instead of slippers

Duncan was curled up on my belly the other morning.  

Me: Listen to Duncan purr, he is very happy to see you.  What does he sound like?

Cam: A generator

Cam: Mummy, do you have to go to work?  Don't you want to play with me?

After bath time when he pulls the plug in the tub

Cam: Bye water, see you another day

When preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner and turn back on item on counter.

Cam (running away): Steal!

You look behind you and sure enough, something is missing.  Item is often found under the chair cushion.

Christmas 2013

On Christmas Eve Camden and I mixed up some reindeer food for Rudolph and the other reindeer.  We dressed and went outside to sprinkle it around.  It was a pretty chilly evening so we didn't stay out too long.

We also decorated cookies for Santa.

Camden was allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve, this is from Uncle Andy!

After we went to bed, Ron heard some bells jingling outside and we came down to find our tree brimming with presents!  How exciting!

Camden came down the stairs and was wowed by everything he saw! Then it was time to open and play with all the presents!

Camden asked Santa for Buzz Lightyear and Santa delivered!!

It was a wonderful day! 

Uncle Andy

Our good friend Andy resembles Gru, a character from the movie Despicable Me, a little bit.  

Just a little though.

     

Well, to Camden, Gru is Uncle Andy and this is his reaction to the present given to him by Uncle Andy and Shelley.

Thank You Uncle Andy!  Camden will never forget you now.

Santa Visit 2013

Camden was thrilled to see Santa this year.  He jumped out of his stroller and ran up to him saying, Hi Santa!  

He sat on his knee and told Santa he would like a Buzz Lightyear.  Santa heard Buzz Radio....I hope he ends up  bring the right present.

For the rest of the day Camden told everyone we met that Santa gave him a candy cane.
