Winter Storm - March 26

We were walloped with Winter this year.  Back to back storms had us buried in snow that we are yet to be rid of.

Here is our driveway before the storm on the 26th.

The snow was so high in this part of the driveway, it almost covered the entire snowblower!

I can just picture the poor snowman who belongs to these twig arms.  His head is buried!

A video I took during the storm.  This doesn't do it justice though, the wind became worse as the sun went down.  It was awful!  The drive home from work was so scary as I had to go through whiteouts.  Next time, I am staying home from work!

Winter Day (+ 6 Degrees)

Saturday was a beautiful sunny and warm day for Winter.  We had to get out and enjoy the fresh air and try to beat our colds.

This is a little hill made in the front of the house by the snow plow.

In the backyard Ron has plowed some areas where we can slide and it makes for a fast ride down a little hill.

We spent a few hours outside and came in soaking wet.  Cam lay down on the couch to watch a movie and was soon fast asleep.  Duncan joined him five minutes later and held his hand (awwww).  

Camden has never fell asleep on the couch so I know he was tired!

Groundhog Day

I can't remember if the Groundhog saw his shadow or not this year, but to me, it looks like winter is staying.

Eat It

Despite all the things we do outside during the Winter with snow, Camden seems to like to eat it the best!

Snow Day

We had a messy day today and I was sent home early from work (yippeeee!).  When I pulled into the driveway, Ron and Camden were outside shovelling and playing.

I joined Camden for a long walk around the backyard and through some trees.  He loves to eat snow and throw it around with his little scoop.

(Mum, his ears were covered all day, we just undid his hat for the last 10 minutes we were outside...promise)

Winter Fun

We have had a lot of snow in the last two weeks.  The first big snowfall we played outside and made a snowman.

More snow fell over New Years and we made the most of it today.  Ron used the snow blower and made a walking/sledding path in the backyard and Camden went on his first ride down the driveway.

Winter Fun

I have wanted to post these winter storm pictures for a while but didn't get the chance until now.

Camden seemed to enjoy the snow and the cool evening air.  I can't wait until next year when he can really walk around and play in the snow with us.
